Our Policies

Rates

Are subject to change and are based on the number of sleeping spaces in the room; an additional charge for each person in addition to that number will be added if management agrees to accept additional persons.

We normally only allow the number of guests that can sleep in the beds provided.  Pack and plays are allowed for children under age 2, while our rooms are large there is not appropriate space for air mattresses nor may motel bedding be use to make a pallet on the floor.

Please make us aware of any special needs and requests ahead of your arrival and we will try our best to accommodate your request. Additional charges may apply, if your needs change, please inform us prior to your arrival as the additional charges may still apply. Note that depending on when a reservation is made the only room(s) available may be larger than you need or desire.

Reservations – Cancelations

Reservations require a credit card, when your reservation is made a $10.00 non-refundable deposit will be charged to the card provided, balance is due in full on arrival; for reservations of more than two rooms made by the same party or related parties a non-refundable deposit of the first night’s lodging will be required.

Reservations for peak periods, Holiday Weekends, ASU Graduation Weekend, First half of July, Month of October and the last half of December through the first week of the New Year, may require a two day minimum stay and will require a seven (7) day cancellation period.  Any reservations cancelled within seven (7) days of your intended stay will incur the full cost of your reservation unless we are able to resell the room, this includes arriving late or departing early.

Reservations for other periods require three (3) days’ notice.  Any reservations cancelled within three (3) days of your intended stay will incur he full cost of your reservation unless we are able to resell the room, this includes arriving late or departing early.

We are in a mountainous area, weather or roads are not an excuse for changes in reservations, please consider your vehicle, driving ability, watch the weather and make plans in sufficient time to give proper notice to avoid a charge.

Office Hours – Check In – Check Out Times

We say office hours are 9AM to 9PM, however we are a tiny family operated property and during our day many different jobs are required of us, the work does not get done if we sit in the office, that means that even during office hour you will likely find us cleaning in guest rooms, out around the property or running a quick errand.  There should be a note at the door noting our intended location or if calling expect that you may need to leave your number on the machine and let us return your call. Before or after office hours you may find me in bed or sitting around in my PJ’s at the computer catching up on emails.

Check Out Time is 10AM, No, I don’t expect to be standing at the door with a stopwatch, I can’t clean all the rooms at once, but to get ready for our next guests I do need to get started, when you depart please leave the room key hanging in the door handle on the outside of your room door, this is my flag that you’re gone and I can start my work for the day.

Check In Time, if guests depart early or at least around check out time we hope to have rooms ready in the range of 12PM to 2PM, but be aware that our being ready may depend on other events beyond our direct control. When making your reservation please try to be specific about your expected arrival time as we use those time as a guide to schedule which rooms to work first and when to schedule our own errands in hopes of being ready and available at your arrival.

Guests Staying More Than One Night

Check/Service Room

We ask on the registration card if we should check your room or respect your privacy and let you ask for specific service or items. I ask as when a guest myself I wanted to be left alone. We can provide replacement towels and supplies on request, we can check your room and service those items or we can service the room and make your bed, however the bed(s) and areas around them must be free of personal items as we do not handle your personal electronics and belongings.

Vehicles – Parking

Free parking, generally in front of your room, however our parking area is small. It is not normally practical for us to host a large truck or bus unless the bus group has rented the entire motel.

Multiple vehicles for a single room or pickup truck hauling a trailer can usually be accommodated with prior notice provided that every room does not need that same accommodation the same day, but please warn us in advance so arrangements can be made.

Smoking

All rooms are non-smoking (eCigs, Vapes, Candles, Incense, Cooking, Odor, No Flame); please honor the non-smoking policy, our health depends on you. If you smoke in one of our rooms or leave the odor of smoking you may be charged a cleaning fee of $200.00.  Smoking is allowed only outside on the porch, please close the room windows and use the ashtrays provided for you.  The use of candles, incense and other such items is not allowed in our rooms.

Pets

No pets on the premises please, that includes being left in your vehicle. You will see chipmunks or other wildlife scurrying around. You may see neighborhood pets passing through.

Privacy Policy

Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy, your personal information is important to us, this policy explains how we attempt to collect and maintain that information, but take note, I’m an everyday guy, I make my living renting and cleaning motel rooms, I’m not a website expert.  Like many or most small businesses, this website theme (license) was purchased and I add my information, the reservation software is contracted (licensed) for my use, the portion that accepts your credit card information is contracted (licensed) from yet another party.

Our physical building is older and hopefully kept in good repair. Our parking lot slopes upward to our porch, there is a handicap parking space near the center of the building. Most doors are smaller than one might expect in new commercial construction, there is a small step at the entrance to rooms 1 through 5 while rooms 6 through 8 are generally level with the porch. Room 6 is larger than other and has a larger entrance door.

Our office door is kept locked; please ring the doorbell for assistance.

All bathrooms have chair height toilets and a grab bar where one steps into the tub, room 6 has additional grab bars in the tub area; we do not have a roll in shower available.

TV’s in our rooms offer closed captioning capabilities provided the transmission source contains closed captioning.
