We attempt to offer nice accommodation at a reasonable cost, and for us to do this our policies tend to be strict.
A booking requires a major credit card, when made a small non-refundable charge will be made to the card provided. The balance will be charged to this card once you enter the 7-day cancelation period.
A cancelation requires a full 7-day notice, this includes arriving later or departing earlier. Road conditions, snow, rain, changes to the event you are attending don’t change this requirement.
Please consider the flip side of this, would you be happy if we cancelled your stay the day before your arrival? Cancelation must work both ways to be effective.
A group or a group of related parties will most likely require full payment in advance with no cancelation due to our tiny size.
We reserve the right to move a guest to a room of the same or larger size [# of beds] to make the most efficient use of our rooms.
Rates
Rates are based on a stay of 2 or more nights; a single night will add an additional charge.
Rates are based on the number of sleeping spaces in the room; an additional charge for each person in addition to that number will be added if management agrees to accept additional people.
Pack-and-plays are allowed for children under age 2 [fee], while our rooms are large there is not appropriate space for air mattresses, nor may motel bedding be used to make a pallet on the floor.
Please make us aware of any special needs and requests ahead of your arrival and we will try our best to accommodate your request. Additional charges may apply.
Note that depending on when a reservation is made the only room(s) available may be larger than you need or desire.
Daily Service
We do not have staff to provide daily room service. We will provide replacement towels and supplies on request, please let us know your needs during office hours.
Hours – Check In – Out Times
We say office hours are 9AM to 8PM, subject to errands and doctor visits, I’m never just sitting at a desk as in a large property. By evening I’m thinking of a shower and bedtime.
Check Out Time is 10AM, please leave your key in the chicken basket on the office screen door.
Check In Time, usually between 2PM and 8PM, if you need earlier, talk with me and I’ll attempt to accommodate your needs. If you need a later arrival again let me know and I can program a code for your entry to your room. Giving us your expected arrival time is a big help to us in planning.
Parking
Free parking, generally in front of your room, however our parking area is small. It is not normally practical for us to host a large truck or bus.
Multiple vehicles for a single room or pickup truck & trailer can usually be accommodated, provided that every room does not need that same accommodation the same day, but please warn us in advance so arrangements can be made.
EV charging may be available for a small fee, please let us know in advance.
No Smoking – No Pets
All rooms are non-smoking (No eSig’s, Vapes, Candles, Incense, Cooking, Odor, or Flames); please honor the non-smoking policy, our health depends on you.
If you smoke in one of our rooms or leave the odor, you may be charged a cleaning fee of $200.00. Smoking is allowed only outside on the porch, windows closed.
No pets on the premises, that includes being left in your vehicle. You may see wildlife or neighborhood pets passing through.
Items Left Behind
Please check your room on departure. I don’t accept responsibility for left items.
- Valued items, computer, phone, I’ll attempt to telephone.
- Pillow, hat, coat, toy, charger, I’ll attempt to save temporarily in case you telephone me, however return shipping may exceed the value.
- Pocket change, food, drink, soap, shampoo is considered disposable when we clean.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy, your personal information is important to us, this policy explains how we attempt to collect and maintain that information, but take note, I’m an everyday guy, I make my living renting and cleaning motel rooms, I’m not a website expert. Like many or most small businesses, this website theme (license) was purchased, and I add my information, the reservation software is contracted (licensed) for my use, the portion that accepts your credit card information is contracted (licensed) from yet another party.
Collecting Personal Information
I collect your name, physical/mailing address, email, telephone, and other details you provide. If we correspond, I will keep that as well. This information is generally needed to conduct business.
I subscribe to a reservation program that allows you to make online reservations and to keep those reservations organized, I find it more efficient than pencil and paper, be aware that your name and address is in their servers.
I subscribe to a program that accepts your credit card information, I understand it is operated by a major credit card company and that they can hold your card number securely. Once entered I no longer have access to your card number, only a “token” that allows me to make a charge for your lodging.

Our physical building is older and hopefully kept in good repair. Our parking lot slopes upward to our porch, there is a handicap parking space near the center of the building. Most doors are smaller than one might expect in new commercial construction, there is a small step at the entrance to rooms 1 through 5 while rooms 6 through 8 are generally level with the porch. Room 6 is larger than other rooms and has a larger entrance door.
Our office door is kept locked; please ring the doorbell for assistance.
All bathrooms have chair height toilets and a grab bar where one steps into the tub, room 6 has additional grab bars in the tub area; we do not have a roll in shower available.
TVs in our rooms offer closed captioning capabilities provided the transmission source contains closed captioning.
